Rangamati:
Rangamati(in Bengali রাঙ্গামাটি) is a district in South-eastern. It is a part of the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the town of Rangamati serves as the headquarters of the district. Area-wise, Rangamati is the largest district of the country.
Rangamati is located in the Chittagong Division. The total area of the district is 6116.13 square km. It is bordered by the Tripura state of India to the north,Bandarban District to the south, Mizoram State of India and Chin State of Myanmar to the east, and Khagrachari and Chittagong Districts to the west.
It's a combination of Hill- Lake-Plain land The area of the district is 6116.13 square km of which 1291.5 square km is riverine and 4824.63 square km. is under forest vegetation and the lake area is about 650 square km .
The most beautiful Place in Rangamati are Kaptai Lake, Shuvolong Falls, Tribal Museum, Hanging Bridge, Kaptai National Park, Rajban Bihar Pagoda, Peda Ting Ting, Chakma Royal Palace, DC Bungalow Area and others all the natural view in rangamati .
November to February as the temperature remains cool and usually any one can go there, this time it's the best time to travel there.
Kaptai lake : This Kaptai lake are large manmade lake of Bangladesh. The lake view are attract all of people who loved beauty of nature.


Shuvolong Falls : There are few waterfalls in Shuvolong area with the largest one falling from as high as 300 feet. In the past several years, this place has turned into a tourist destination due to beautiful waterfalls.

Tribal Museum : The museum is located near the entry point to the city.
Hanging Bridge: This 335feet long bridge across a portion of the Kaptai lake is an icon of Rangamati. The Hanging Bridge are very beautiful .

Kaptai National Park: This forest is located in the Karnafuly and Kaptai range. According to the government statistics some 50,000 people visits the national park every year. The animal species of Kaptai National park are deer, elephants, monkeys, fishing cats and birds. Kaptai Forest Rest House and several picnic spots are located here.


Rajban Bihar Pagoda: Buddhist Temple, where the spiritualist principal monk of Rajban Vihara, Shrimath Sadhana Nanda Mohasthabir(Ban Vante) lives.

Peda Ting Ting: Few kilometres away from Rangamati. A small island on the Kaptai Lake.

Chakma Royal Palace: This is the palace of the present Chakma King. However, it is open to visit for all public.
